Firstly let me just say how proud of Ellie i am for getting her first stone off...bless her...here is to the next 3 xx ohh and another 3 lb today....she is getting good at this...lol
My knee feels great now...still the odd twinge but its nearly there and i am planning on getting some walking in over the holidays with the kids...so here starts my training.
Started my job this week, its going well the staff are such fun to work with, and its really good getting back into it again. I was rather worried as it's been a while since i was working but its just all slipped into place. Worked with the animals a lot this last week. This is a really nice part of the job but not the main part of it. Only another week at york and then we get the keys for our store so that will be good to get into the swing of it. Most of the staff already having a giggle about the fact i am 40 this year....arrrgggghhhh not the best birthday to have...working with lots of guys...as taking the micky is going to be top of the agenda..!!
Well had a lovely Valentine's, Andy and i went shopping then Andy cooked a lovely meal for the both of us and we had no children either... :)
Finsihed my homework for "WORK" today so i can now get onto the next Step book and i hope to finish that before our store opens.
Really proud of linda for getting on that stage last night bellydancing Well done hunni, here is to the next one and i want front seat tickets...remember...lol
Really struggled with the news of Jade Goody yesterday...it's not that its Jade goody really just the fact she is 27 and leaving her two beautiful boys behind...lets hope its a warning to other women not to ignore the smear tests...i am due my year smear soon..and i am keeping my fingers crossed that its ok...!
Well thats it for now i think...so have a great week and i will report back next sunday...really looking forward to spending my afternoons with the kids...whilst they on holiday xxxxxxxxxx

Walk the walk and talk the talk!!
Hello,
What a great weekend,we stayed at Ellie and Rays over the weekend...love it as it gives us time to relax and thats what weekends are about.
Loved spending time with my Sis and Al too as we don't get together that much.
Ellie gave me a spray tan...ohh my days i look really healthy for a change...!
Got home to another letter from Dan's school saying he had another detention....so we set about writing a letter the the head of his year demanding a meeting to put a stop to this once and for all!!!
Dan and joe went to watch Wales V Scotland in the 6nations rugby yesterday, they got back tired but full of what a brilliant time they had. Bless them!
Lauren was not happy today as her growing pains kept her awake in the night so she was tired!!
I have done loads of washing today and im getting the house up to date as i start work on thursday....so no more time for me anymore...lol..but lots of pennies...!
Just set up a just giving page for the moonwalk sponsorship so i await some pennies from you all....lol...even £5 will help.

One more step forward!!
Well it's been over a week since my op on my knee and the pain is better but it's really stiff. Having said that i am walking without my crutches unless i am walking along way then i take one for a bit of support.
This week has been mad with the weather...snow snow snow...!!
Had a good few laughs with Ellie about the moonwalk, i love her spirit but i have to say i really hope she can continue the energy and do the training at least 3times a week. It will be great for her to do and roll on june but one step at a time.
I look forward to getting out there and start walking fast again...getting my bum back to nice and toned...lol
Just a bit random but i am going to have to change my home telephone...it has rang loads today and i have to say it's got the worst ring tone ever...!
Had a bad week with Dan's school, we seem to go through the endless phone calls from school saying that he has forgot to do this...or he should do that but i am constently hit with rudeness from bad attutide and misunderstanding from teachers at his school.
I had a lengthy chat with a very abrupt teacher and challenged her to take me on with the why and how Dan is like he is. I get charged with the passion for my son and then sometimes don't handle things in the right way.
When i asked Daniel if he would like to have a home tutor he nearly bit my hand off, ohh how i could have cried. He hates school he has no friends and the children in his class say very hurtful things to him.
Hard to see a 14yr old young man cry and i feel helpless caught up in the system and rules that are stead fast as to not confuse hundreds of children...no rule bending for children with special needs.
Enough said now...off to hoover up and do some cleaning..whilst i wait lauren and her friend Katie to get back from school

Day one of my blog
Hiya, Well last nght I asked a good friend of mine Ellie if she fancied joining me on the moon walk!!
Ellie is going to be 40 the day before me, although I have to say she seems way more chilled out about this then I am.
40th...Mmmmmm this has a bad ring to it, I guess as I know the next big one will be 50...arrrgghhh.
Anyway, to lead me up to my 40th I have decided to write a blog, I feel it will be like therapy for me and also it will help me note down my training for the 26miles ahead in June.
Getting to 40 seems like a waste of years, I am kicking myself that I have not done more with the last 39. I had my children early and maybe that has been my block..or am I using that as an excuse?
There's only one way to find out and that is to push that excuse to one side and make no excuses from today onwards.
Not really sure what adventures I would have wanted to do so I am going to make a list of ones I want to do...before I am 50!!
VISIT: Africa, Vegas, Australia and China
DO: Sky dive, Deep sea dive, Balloon ride, Horse ridding,
LEARN: A Language, ball room dancing, to do the right thing!!
HAVE: enough money to buy womens essentials when needed...and just because I can !!
KNOW: That being older makes you wiser not wrinkly and I want the lines around my eyes to be from laughing not crying!!!
So my list is done for now...and I will mark them off over the years. This is for me and not for anyone else, so I will succeed and make MY dreams come true.
My knee is getting loads better after my operation and I can't wait till I start training again. So for now...till I have more to tell...I will sign off.
